The users of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic can also enjoy the longer updates. Samsung promises up to four years of One UI Watch and Wear OS Powered by Samsung updates.

With the release of the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab S8 series, Samsung announced that in future flagship models for 2021 and 2022 will be able to rely on 4 Android updates and 5 years of support. You will then be on the safe side until 2026 or 2027.

It comes as a bit of a surprise that this long support period will also be offered for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 (Classic) smartwatch and future models of the Galaxy Watch series. In a positive way of course.
