The Redmi Note 11 phones are barely a month old in the global market, but Xiaomi already has its sights set on the Redmi Note 12 series. Rumors from various corners suggest that a debut of the Redmi Note 12 series in China is not as far away as some would expect.

Xiaomi already presented the Redmi Note 11 series in China in October last year. It took the company another three months to bring the devices to the global market. And now it seems that Xiaomi has already prepared the Redmi Note 12 series for launch.

Xiaomi is rumored to be preparing the Redmi Note 12 series for a Q2 launch. While the original source only claims a launch is expected in Q2, YouTuber Sahil Karoul claims a launch is expected in late April or sometime in May.

Of course, the launch of the Redmi Note 12 refers to a debut in China. The global Redmi Note 12 phones may differ significantly from the Chinese models and appear significantly later. It is believed that the mid-range phones would be launched globally around September.
