Since the launch of the first model, Google's Pixel phones have been among the best Android phones, partly because these phones stay current with regular software patches. However, the update frequency of the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro has so far been worse than what we were used to from Google. And that continues with a second February update that is now being rolled out.
A new February 2022 update for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro has been distributed to users since yesterday evening. According to the changelog, it probably fixes bugs and improves Android performance and stability. However, there is no more detailed information. It is a small OTA about 10MB in size.
This new update follows the one that appeared earlier this month. This update brought several bug fixes for the Pixel 6, including some connectivity issues. Unfortunately, more problems surfaced as Google fixed some issues on its phones.
