Last year, OnePlus announced a three-year partnership with camera maker Hasselblad. Oppo today announced a similar three-year partnership with Hasselblad to jointly develop industry-leading camera technologies for Oppo's flagship Find X series.

The company said it will work with Hasselblad to further develop advanced imaging solutions through a research and development collaboration aimed at providing users with more natural colors and a more refined viewing experience. By using Hasselblad's natural color calibration, Oppo aims to achieve the most natural skin tone in portrait photography.

Starting with the software improvements for natural color matching, Oppo says the three-year partnership will continue to improve the color calibration solution and aim to set a new benchmark for smartphone camera color performance to ensure consistent, natural color performance for Oppo mobile phones for all scenarios and beyond to deliver throughout the camera system.

OPPO | Hasselblad Camera for Mobile will debut in the next generation of Oppo's flagship Find X series in Q1 2022.
