OnePlus UnifiedOS in development, coming with flagship smartphones in 2nd half of 2022
Back in June 2021, OnePlus announced deeper integration with Oppo and unveiled its plan to develop a unified OS. The company abandoned the HydrogenOS and replaced it with ColorOS in China. However, the unified operating system for the global markets has not yet been announced.
It is now reported that the OnePlus UnifiedOS will be announced in the second half of 2022. Accordingly, the upcoming uniform operating system should be based on Google's upcoming Android 13. The upcoming uniform operating system for the OnePlus devices should then be announced with a OnePlus flagship.
The uniform operating system for OnePlus devices is said to be in an early development phase at the moment. It can therefore be assumed that the originally planned launch of the new OS with the international launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro was not possible at all.
A recent leak suggests that the upcoming OnePlus unified operating system could be called H2OOS . However, there is no official confirmation yet.
