OnePlus announced its first flagship of the year - the OnePlus 10 Pro - more than a month ago, but there's still a lot we don't know about the 10 Series as a whole. While the Pro is already on sale in China, we're still waiting for more details on a possible OnePlus 10, as well as global availability of these devices. Now a new flagship phone codenamed "Oscar" is said to be on the way.
This new information comes from the Yogest Brar. This "Oscar" device is reportedly set to launch in the second quarter of this year, meaning an announcement is likely to come between April and June. The site anticipates that this device will be launched as the OnePlus 10. Other than that, there isn't much information in this report - no rumors about the internal specs or camera sensors.
As a reminder, the OnePlus 10 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, up to 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, a powerful 48MP rear camera, and 80W Warp Charge SuperVOOC charging. The OnePlus 10 could dial back some of those specs, including the camera and ultra-fast charging, as a cost-cutting move to keep prices down.
The rumored time window for the market launch is not too far away - we can probably expect a number of leaks about the device soon.
