Official: Huawei Mate 50 is coming, will be released in July

Last year Huawei introduced only one flagship - the Huawei P50 series. This is the first time the company has stepped away from its dual flagship launch in one year. There was no Huawei Mate 50 series in 2021, the reason should be well known.

However, the latest post from Li Changzhou, vice president of Huawei Consumer Business Group Strategy Marketing Department, has confirmed that there is a device called the Huawei Mate 50 and that it is coming, but not yet.

Li made the remark after some Weibo users started a discussion about whether Huawei will launch the Mate 50 series this year. The result is that the Huawei Mate 50 series, or just one model of it, will be released this year.

Still, the official hasn't revealed any specific details about the specs or the exact launch date of the device. It is speculated that we can expect the Huawei Mate 50 series sometime in July this year.
