Motorola Frontier and its 194 MP camera show up in a new render image
Although Motorola is gearing up to unveil the Edge 30 Pro, another smartphone could be the company's highlight in the first half of 2022. The so-called Motorola Frontier is a flagship that is said to come with an impressive 200 MP main camera.
An image of the unannounced phone surfaced three weeks ago, but was unclear and only showed the front and back of the Motorola Frontier. Luckily, Evan Blass leaked a much better picture of the device, showing the flagship from all angles.
Design-wise, it matches the first image perfectly, so it's safe to assume that's what the Motorola Frontier will look like. However, no further spec details have been leaked, so we'll have to limit ourselves to what has been leaked so far:
- 6.67-inch P-OLED display with FHD+ resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ technology
- Snapdragon SM8475 processor
- 8/12GB RAM options
- 128 and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage
- 200MP OIS + 50MP Ultra Wide + 12MP 2X Telephoto Rear Camera System
- 60MP front shooter
- 4,500mAh battery with 125 wired and 50W wireless charging options
- Android 12
- stereo speakers
- Dual SIM
- USB Type-C connector with DisplayPort 1.4 support
- WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS
It's not known when Motorola will unveil the Frontier to the world public, but the date shown on the phone's screen points to a possible April 3 announcement.
