Mobile phone half charged in 5 minutes: China manufacturer makes it possible
Charging the smartphone battery with 150 watts - that's what the Chinese manufacturer Realme promises with its GT Neo 3. Five minutes should be enough to fill the battery halfway. A special algorithm protects you against possible heat problems.
Realme GT Neo 3: Charge the battery at lightning speed
The Chinese manufacturer Realme wants to make rapidly charging batteries in smartphones the new normal. A new technology is making its debut in the forthcoming Handy GT Neo 3, the highlight of which is that 50 percent of the battery is charged in just five minutes . This is ensured by the "150W UltraDart Charge", which replaces the previous Super Dart Charge technology (source: Realme on Twitter).
The manufacturer has not yet revealed how much time the Realme GT Neo 3 needs for a full charge . With current models, the battery is fully operational after 36 minutes.
In the announcement, Realme points out that customers do not have to make any compromises when it comes to security. A specially developed algorithm is to take over the temperature management and ensure that the temperature is kept below 43 °C. According to Realme, there is also nothing to worry about when it comes to battery life. After 1,000 full charging cycles, 80 percent of the original battery capacity should still be available.

According to rumors, the GT Neo 3 will use a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh . In addition, a 6.7-inch OLED display and a refresh rate of 120 Hertz can be expected. The manufacturer probably chose the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 for the processor.
The rear cameras could take pictures with 50 MP . In addition to the main sensor, there are two more lenses (8 MP and 2 MP). Selfies are probably possible with 16 MP. Realme has not yet given a date for the presentation of the cell phone.
