Mobile World Congress 2022 (MWC) starts in less than two weeks, and that means we have a bunch of new devices coming our way. Leading up to the event, companies are starting to announce new devices, and Honor is one of them.
After a successful resurgence in 2021 thanks to devices like the Honor 50 and the Magic V, Honor is now preparing to launch a true "premium flagship smartphone". Honor will officially unveil its latest device at Mobile World Congress, with the announcement scheduled for February 28th.
The company has already confirmed the name of its latest device: it will be called the Honor Magic 4. Little is known about the device so far, but with Honor claiming it's a premium flagship, we can expect it to rival the OnePlus 10 Pro and Galaxy S22 series.
According to previous rumors and leaks, the Honor Magic 4 lineup will consist of three different devices: the Magic 4, Magic 4 Pro and Magic 4 Pro+. All three devices are said to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
Other expected features of the Magic 4 range include the use of AMOLED displays with adaptive refresh rates of up to 120Hz and impressive camera hardware. The Magic 4 Pro+ is said to come with a quad camera array consisting of four different 50MP sensors. There is even a possibility that one of these three devices could be loaded with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset.
