{Disarmed} Xiaomi tests that its mobiles connect devices to the Internet by cable in the latest beta of MIUI 13
Xiaomi is constantly testing new features to implement on its devices. These are small functions that are not always essential, but that are curious and that can make our lives easier at certain times.
Have internet by WiFi, but now also by cable
Probably on some occasion you have had to do Teathering or create a portable access to share data from your mobile with other devices such as a computer or a tablet. Well, Xiaomi wants to make its devices able to offer the internet wirelessly, but also through cable.
This is the latest functionality that the company has included in the MIUI 13 daily beta . Now we have to wait to find out if this novelty ends up working correctly and is received by the rest of the devices in future updates, despite the fact that many users will not have a USB Type-C to Ethernet adapter to be able to enjoy the functionality.

The advantage is that the internet connection would be somewhat more agile, although it will be much less noticeable than in a conventional router, since the signal and, therefore, the speed that we receive through the mobile network is changing.

Now we just have to wait to see if it achieves good results in the tests and manages to prosper in future software versions.
