Xiaomi presents its own Android Auto: it's called CarWith and so you can try it

A new feature, similar to Android Auto and unknown to date, it has been featured in the latest MIUI 13 22.2.7 Daily Beta, Chinese ROM. Detected through the MIUIes team, its name is CarWith and it is a very interesting utility to interconnect your car with your Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO mobile.

Road safety is the most important thing . And in order to avoid touching the mobile for anything, applications like Android Auto facilitate the most typical functions: take calls, send an audio or switch between songs using the buttons and controls of the car itself. CarWith is Xiaomi's alternative proposal.

What is CarWith, the new MIUI 13 function for your Xiaomi

The Xiaomi ecosystem has dozens of applications, some exclusive and others more general such as Mi Picks , Xiaomi's Google Play, Mi Browser , the brand's exclusive browser, Mi Remote orMi Ai , an assistant compatible with the entire world of branded speakers and headphones . CarWith falls within this group of exclusive applications .

Of course, this app is not identical to Android Auto , but its intention is. Through the vehicle's control screen, CarWith has its own functions, drawing on navigation, music, telephone services —to be able to pick up and hang up calls— and other applications such as Waze-type radar systems.

It should be noted that this function is not available in the global ROM nor does it have an official translation. This is a feature only available in China through the latest daily beta, quite unstable. Like any test service, it is still subject to changes and checks or debugging; it may end up being integrated into the MIUI 13 stable ROM or simply disappear.

If you want to try this daily beta you can do it by accessing from here . And to be able to install it, you just have to follow the steps that we already mentioned in this article : unlocked the bootloader, use the Mi Unlock tool and install the new downloaded ROM.
