Headphones have become one of the essential elements in everyday life. Many use them while playing sports, others when they go for a walk or on the way to work. In the end, music is a very good medicine for disconnection. Today we bring you the analysis of the Redmi Buds 3 Pro, the most complete noise-cancelling headphones that Xiaomi markets in Spain.
An elegant and highly functional design
The Redmi Buds 3 Pro are presented in a box made of plastic with a nice finish, although somewhat fragile, since it is easily scratched and the marks of use can be seen even with care.

It fits the size of an oversized box, but still fits into most trouser pockets with ease . On the front we find a button that we will use to pair them for the first time and also a small white LED through which it is very easy to know the charge level of the headphones .
On the back we find the hinge, which by the way is magnetic and closes in a very solid way , in addition to the Redmi logo.

Finally, in the lower part we find the USB type C connection through which the headphones are recharged, although we already told you that recharging them has not been one of our concerns.
If we focus on the headphones themselves, as soon as we open the box we find a pearl effect finish that corresponds to the touch panel through which we perform multimedia control. In this same place is an integrated microphone that will be very useful for active noise cancellation.

When we take the headphones out of the box, we can see that they have a rubber that can be exchanged for the different sizes that come in the box, depending on the one that best suits your ear.

On the left side of the headset are the pins through which the headset is recharged . However, in the lower part there is another small speaker and the inscription each one, right or left.

In general, it is noted that the design is very careful , since the most tedious thing is having to insert them both in the box and in the ear, since when you put them in your ear you have to turn it about half a turn so that they are perfectly adjusted and these do not move, offering a much more comfortable experience.

Xiaomi Redmi Buds 3 Pro - Bluetooth 5.2 Headphones, Wireless Charging, up to 28 Hours of Battery, Dual Device Connection, ANC Noise Cancellation System, Graphite Black Color.
Gestures to switch between two or three modes?

Although it is already possible to perform multimedia control of music from the smartwatch , it is important that the headphones have this possibility, and that it is comfortable. In this case, the Redmi Buds 3 Pro have the following gestures:
- Press twice : The song stops.
- Three touches : Next song.
- Long press : Switch between the different levels of noise cancellation.
Although they are enough gestures, we have missed the possibility of invoking the Google assistant , although it should be noted that it can be configured to detect the order "Ok Google" through the microphone of the headphones.

It would also have been good if they detected a single touch, although it is true that sometimes, and more so in times of masks, they can detect ghost touches and make the experience even uncomfortable.
It should be noted that they are headphones that are intended for those users who are within the Xiaomi ecosystem much more than for those who are not.
The proof of this is that they integrate artificial intelligence and there are certain modes, such as, for example, the transparency mode that can only be activated when you have a Xiaomi mobile with the latest version of MIUI paired with them.
We also really liked that as soon as you open the box, these appear on the screen of nearby Xiaomi devices, without having to go to the "Settings" menu . As long as Bluetooth is on.
Sound quality: nothing to worry about

The sound quality is one of the sections that have surprised us the most about the Redmi Buds 3 Pro . It is true that certain nuances and a greater presence of bass are missing, but in general terms, they offer a very adequate sound quality for their price.
The audio of this type of headphones having to be quite high, as long as the noise cancellation is not active, which makes the nuance richness is lower when the volume is high. So noise cancellation is not that it makes us less bothered by noise, but also enjoy better sound quality.

In addition, they are very comfortable, you can spend a couple of hours in a row with them without any problem when it is not usual in this type of headphones.
Active noise cancellation up to 35 decibels with a big but

The active noise cancellation of the Buds 3 Por is capable of canceling up to 35 decibels of noise , even if you have a Xiaomi device paired with the headphones, the noise cancellation is improved thanks to the use of artificial intelligence.
One of the flaws they have is that noise cancellation is not activated by default , but you have to activate it every time you want to enjoy this functionality.
Despite the fact that they isolate quite well passively and in this way the autonomy of the headphones is prolonged , we believe that starting with this active function would be much better, since you end up turning up the volume and damaging your hearing health instead of enjoying a more restrained volume and activated noise cancellation.
When active noise cancellation is activated you notice immediately, since the sensation at that moment when you are not playing music, the sensation is reminiscent of the sensation of when a plane is taking off. Nothing that does not also happen in other models.
A correct autonomy, but that does not stand out

Despite the fact that these types of headphones are not designed to be in the ear for a long time, but for short trips and to be able to put them in the box for minutes later, put them back at 100%, the autonomy does not disappoint. We have performed the tests between 70 and 80% of the total volume:
- Without active noise cancellation : approximately 5.5 hours.
- With active noise cancellation : 4 hours and a half.
Taking into account that the case recharges via USB Type-C in just over two hours and that it takes just over three via wireless charging, they correspond to very reasonable figures, perhaps a little below some opponents, but surpass enough.

The earphones have 35 mAh and the case has 470 mAh . In our tests, it is possible to fully recharge the headphones approximately four times. Although it will last you more than a week making short trips and recharging them between intermediate percentages .
It should be noted that the box barely heats up when recharging by cable, but this factor is noticeable when you do it through wireless charging.
Although the percentage is very easy to find out through the MIUI notification bar , there is always the possibility of guiding you through the LED that integrates the case.
Good, Nice and Cheap Headphones

The Redmi Buds 3 Pro are the definition of headphones that meet the three B's . Well, they offer a sound quality that, for its price, is really surprising. Good, because active noise cancellation is very good and, finally, cheap because despite the fact that its official price is 69.99 euros, we can already find them for only 49.99 euros .
Now, keep in mind that if you don't have a Xiaomi device at hand, you'll be missing out on some key features of the headphones.
