{Disarmed} OnePlus 10 Pro endurance test: Zack transforms the flagship into the OnePlus Fold [Video]
OnePlus didn't know it, but Zack from JerryRigEverything did the hard work for them and presented the first OnePlus Fold. Unfortunately, this is not funny at all when you look at the endurance test for the new OnePlus 10 Pro.
Now Zack is back with the OnePlus 10 Pro and things aren't going too well. The phone withstands the traditional tests, the display being scratched again at levels 6 and 7. The phone's frame is aluminum, which isn't surprising either, and despite the lack of an official IP rating, OnePlus has fitted a rubber seal around the SIM card tray to ensure some sort of water resistance.
It gets really spicy when Zack begins the endurance test by simply trying to bend the phone with his hands. To everyone's surprise, that's exactly what happens, as the first flex cracks the rear glass. At this point, the display still works, albeit with a fairly severe flex. When Zack then tries to bend the phone the other way, it folds completely, breaking the back glass and frame just above the built-in battery.
Some of the structural integrity issues are due to the lack of structure around the volume buttons on the right and the built-in antenna on the opposite side. But no matter how you look at it, things aren't looking good for OnePlus.
