Samsung will reportedly unveil its latest flagship smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, in early February. The lineup is said to include three devices – the Samsung Galaxy S22, the Samsung Galaxy S22+ and the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. So far, numerous leaks and rumors about the Galaxy S22 series have appeared on the internet.
Now there is exclusive information about the Samsung Galaxy S22+. There are press images of the mid-range flagship along with key specs and more.
The press photos show the final design of the Samsung Galaxy S22+. The device will have a center-aligned selfie camera and evenly narrow bezels around the display. The power button and volume buttons are located on the right side of the device.
The device appears to have a metal frame, as antenna covers can be seen on the sides. On the back, the Samsung Galaxy S22+ will feature a triple camera and an LED flash, located to the right of the vertical camera module.
Contrary to previous rumours, the model will be launched in Europe with the Exynos 2200 processor. The 50MP wide-angle camera of the Samsung Galaxy S22+ will feature Adaptive Pixel technology, which inevitably uses two modes for taking photos – 108MP (Remosiac mode) and 12MP (Non-Abstinning). Images are captured in 12-bit.
The display of the Samsung Galaxy S22+ will be equipped with a peak brightness of up to 1,750 nits and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The model is said to weigh 195 grams. Finally, there is also a 4,500 mAh battery on board, which can be quickly charged at 45 watts via a USB Type-C charging port.
