Realme has confirmed that the company has shipped more than 40 million smartphones from its Number line. The announcement was made ahead of the launch event of the Realme 9i. The manufacturer is also continuing to expand in Europe, with well-equipped but still affordable models.
"The Realme Number Series is one of the most important series in our smartphone portfolio and we are very excited about this new milestone of over 40 million devices shipped. Our Number series is aimed at young users around the world and we have successfully introduced numerous technical innovations that have been well received by our users. We have some exciting plans to continue expanding our number line this year and introducing more industry innovations."

Earlier this month, the company announced that it sold more than 60 million devices in 2020, ranking it in the top 5 smartphone brands in 21 countries. Last year, sales increased by 50 percent compared to the previous year. The company is targeting sales of 90 million devices this year.
Realme is one of the fastest growing smartphone brands in multiple markets. According to a recent market study by Counterpoint Research, Realme ranks 6th in global sales of 5G Android smartphones.
