The OnePlus 10 Pro has been on everyone's lips lately as far as OnePlus is concerned. After debuting in China last week, the device is set to launch globally at the end of March . Meanwhile, the Chinese brand is also working on a new mid-range phone as part of its Nord series. The phone could appear as either the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G or the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G.
According to a tweet, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 (name not official) will at least be available in Bahama Blue and Gray Mirror colors. Also, one of the variants will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Previous leaks suggest that OnePlus could also offer the phone in 6GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB storage configurations.
A report from early December 2021 claimed that the upcoming OnePlus mid-range model will have a 6.4″ flat AMOLED display with a FullHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device should also have an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 will reportedly feature the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, a 6nm chipset with dual Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.4GHz GHz are clocked. The phone has three cameras on the back. There is a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra wide camera and a 2 MP macro camera. The selfie camera on the front has a 16 MP sensor installed.
Other specs include a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging, Android 12, 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, 5G cellular connectivity, dual SIM support, microSD card slot, and NFC.
