The OnePlus 10 Pro was launched in China just a few weeks ago. And actually we are still waiting for the OnePlus 10. But maybe it won't appear at all? But a OnePlus 10 Ultra for that? There are now rumors about this model on the internet.
Rumor has it that OnePlus is now working on a new flagship model. This could probably be called OnePlus 10 Ultra. And it would be the manufacturer's first Ultra model.
An "ultra flagship" from OnePlus is said to be in the EVT phase right now, meaning a launch can be expected in the coming months. EVT stands for Engineering Verification Testing and is a test performed on prototype products during their early alpha phase.
The tweet also talks about the growing integration of OnePlus and OPPO, saying that the technology exchange between the duo is currently in full swing. The OPPO Find X5 series has already received the Hasselblad treatment - something that until now has been reserved for OnePlus. In turn, Oppo's in-house developed MariSilicon NPU could be seen in a OnePlus flagship in the second half of 2022.
The state-of-the-art, dedicated NPU enables significantly faster image processing on devices equipped with it, resulting in significant quality improvements in photos and videos.
However, it is currently unclear if and when the OnePlus 10 Ultra will appear.
