Netflix and Prime Video continue to assert themselves as market leaders. The two streaming services are only 2 percent apart. AppleTV+ and RTL+ (formerly TV Now) both grew by 1 percent in Q4/2021. Disney+ continues to enjoy a comfortable lead over Sky of 11 percent and is the third largest service in Germany.

With growth of +3 percent, Disney+ had the most successful year. Apple TV+ grew by +2 percent in 2021. Prime Video suffered the most, shrinking -4 percent while Netflix took over as the market leader.
