Xiaomi fined for promoting this mobile with LCD screen as if it were AMOLED
As we can read through ITHome , Xiaomi has just been fined by the Beijing Market Surveillance Office , accusing it of having violated the Advertising Law of the People's Republic of China.
Apparently, Xiaomi promoted one of its terminals with an LCD screen as if it were a smartphone with an AMOLED screen , drawing the attention of a greater number of customers attracted by the qualities of this type of screen.
A mistake on the part of Xiaomi in relation to its Redmi K30 5G
This fact happened some time ago around the Redmi K30 5G . Wrongly, Xiaomi promoted it on several posters attributing it to an AMOLED screen , also manufactured by Samsung.
Since then, Xiaomi has been investigated until today that it has been fined, symbolically, with a fine of $ 3,140 for having violated Section 8 of Clause 1 of the Advertising Law of the Republic of China.
There is no doubt that it was just a mistake on the part of Xiaomi and that at no time did the company carry out this advertising campaign conscientiously. Currently Xiaomi has so many mobiles that it is very easy to confuse the characteristics between them.
