The Chinese manufacturer relies on several of its own technologies that extend the life of the 5,000 mAh battery in the Xiaomi 11T Pro. If this is too high, the battery suffers particularly. Dual-cell technology is used to avoid this. With two charging points, more energy can be charged in the same time without the battery breaking into a sweat. At the same time, there is a higher amperage over a longer period of time, which shortens the charging time.

Xiaomi says that the 5,000 mAh battery loses a maximum of 20 percent of its capacity after 800 charging cycles under maximum load with the 120 watt power supply. For comparison: Apple's iPhone charges considerably more slowly and is said to lose the same capacity in just 500 charging cycles. Normally, the loss of performance in the life of the Xiaomi 11T Pro should hardly be noticeable, even if you use the 120 watt charging technology every day.
