Samsung Galaxy S21 FE appears with Android 12
The Galaxy S21 FE should have been available long ago, as the Galaxy S22 series is just around the corner. After some delay, which is probably related to the global chip crisis, the fan edition can now be expected in January 2022. A look at the firmware of the cell phone that has already been leaked shows that it will be delivered with Android 12 and Samsung's One UI 4.0 right from the start (source: SamMobile). So there is still something good about the delay.
For customers, there is even another advantage that is not available in the other models in the Galaxy S21 series. According to Samsung's plan, the fan edition will receive software updates up to Android 15 . For the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra, only updates up to Android 14 are expected.
In terms of price, the Galaxy S21 FE is likely to be cheaper than initially assumed. In order to be able to find buyers at all, Samsung has to work hard in this area. According to reports, the variant with 128 GB of storage could cost around 649 euros in this country . More memory is then probably available for 699 euros.

The screen of the Galaxy S21 FE should come to a diagonal of 6.4 inches and thus position itself between the Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy S21 Plus. A high refresh rate is expected. There shouldn't be any surprises in terms of design, so there is still a rear camera hump with three lenses. This hump will not differ in color from the rest of the smartphone.
