{Disarmed} Xiaomi prepares the update to MIUI 12.5 for up to three new devices with more than two years on the market
Apparently, Xiaomi had not said the last word regarding the deployment of updates to MIUI 12.5 is concerned. After the announcement of the completion of the updates to this version by Xiaomi, the Chinese firm continues to bring MIUI 12.5 to some of its devices that were not included in the official list of phones that were going to receive it, and this is undoubtedly a great news.
This is the case precisely of the Redmi Note 8 , Redmi Note 8T and POCO M3 , of which some of them had received this version through certain specific ROMs launched in China, but that are preparing their update in different regions such as India, Russia, Indonesia, Turkey and, of course, in the Global version.
Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8T and POCO M3, the lucky ones who will receive MIUI 12.5 Global very soon
Thanks to Xiaomiui we have been able to access this information that reveals the internal code of MIUI where the three devices are shown running MIUI 12.5 along with the ROMs that we have just mentioned.
In detail, these ROMs correspond to the following versions for each of the three devices:
- Redmi Note 8: V12.5.1.0. RCOINXM, V12.5.1.0. RCORUXM, V12.5.1.0. RCOIDXM and V12.5.1.0. RCOEUXM
- Redmi Note 8T: V12.5.1.0. RCXMIXM and V12.5.1.0. RCXEUXM
- LITTLE M3: V12.5.2.0. RJFMIXM, V12.5.1.0. RJFRUXM, V12.5.2.0. RJFIDXM and V12.5.1.0. RJFTRXM
At the moment, there is no exact date of when these versions would be deployed, although everything indicates that it will be next January when we can see MIUI 12.5 in the three phones that we have discussed previously with the performance improvements and optimization of the system that this implies.
