What is Talkback? TalkBack is an accessibility service, a tool that helps users with different vision problems to interact more comfortably, using the spoken word and the vibration of the mobile phone every time it recognizes that a button has been touched.

The TalkBack screen reader is a very useful function developed in Android that, in short, reads what is on the screen and offers voice notifications of the different buttons and their utilities.

However, if you don't need it or have activated it by mistake, the path to find the TalkBack feature is as follows:

  • Enter the ' Settings ' of the system.
  • Now scroll to the option ' Additional settings '.
  • Once inside this new window, go down and tap on the ' Accessibility ' section.
  • Within the ' Accessibility ' section you will see several sections (general, vision, hearing and physical). Tap on the second option, that of ' Vision '.
  • Within this new section you can now use TalkBack or disable it.
