Finns love OnePlus smartphones
According to data from Counterpoint Research, the Pulse brand achieved growth of 131 percent in the third quarter of 2021 . "We are very satisfied with our performance in Europe, which is driven by a broader product portfolio, our constantly growing community in Europe and stronger connections to our partners," said Tuomas Lampen, Head of Strategy at OnePlus in Europe, commenting on the market researchers' numbers a press release.
OnePlus smartphones are particularly popular in Finland . In the Scandinavian country, OnePlus achieved a market share of 20 percent between July and September of this year. Every fifth smartphone sold in Finland had OnePlus logo in the third quarter of 2021. And the OnePlus community continues to grow steadily and has even cracked the 3 million mark. Most users, according to OnePlus, come from Great Britain, Finland, Germany, France and the Netherlands.
After the takeover of OnePlus by Oppo, both brands are only listed together by market researchers. In the third quarter of 2021, both had a combined market share of 10.1 percent .
