Google Pixel 6 (Pro) is a bit picky about accessories

The Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro have been available on the market for some time and are very popular. Over time, however, problems keep popping up that Google can hopefully solve. This time it's about accessories that don't quite fit the Google phone.

Google Pixel 6 (Pro) refuses some power supplies

Google decided not to include a power supply with the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Like many other manufacturers, it is believed that most people still have power supplies that can be used. But that seems to be a problem as not all USB chargers are accepted by Google phones. PhoneArena has collected a few cases. Older and weaker power packs in particular are probably a problem, while modern models with "Power Delivery" do not cause any problems.

I myself have been using the Google Pixel 6 Pro (for testing) for a few months and cannot confirm the problems . Both my very old Samsung power supply for the Galaxy Note 9 and the wireless charging stations on my bed or in the car work perfectly. The power adapter of the MacBook Pro or the 25 watt charger of the Galaxy S21 do not cause any problems either. The loading speed is not very fast, but I haven't noticed any problems so far.

We'll show you what magic tricks the Pixel 6 can do:

Google Pixel 6 (Pro) incompatible with DJI drones

Some owners of the new Google phones not only have problems with power supplies, but can no longer fly their DJI drones with them. The two smartphones are currently simply not compatible (source: DroneDJ). The problem here is not with the Google phones, but probably with the DJI app. It is quite possible that this is simply not yet compatible with Android 12.

As more and more smartphones are updated to Android 12, DJI is likely to establish compatibility with it in the near future. If the problem is with the Google phone itself, the problem should be resolved over time. Of course, that shouldn't happen.
