Finally better folding cell phones: Samsung listens to critics
With the third generation of its folding cell phones, Samsung has already proven that it has learned from mistakes. Some improvements can also be expected with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, as initial reports show. Samsung still has some catching up to do with cameras and weight.
When Samsung presented its first foldable smartphone, it quickly became clear that a completely new class of device could not be fully developed right away. Especially with the first generation, some customers had the feeling that they were holding nothing more than an extended prototype in their hands. It was not until the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Fold 3 that other folding phones came along that could also prove themselves in everyday life. The fourth generation is expected to increase the number of cameras in particular.
Samsung: Next folding cell phones with better cameras
For the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Samsung opted for an under-display camera that is much less prominent than a punch-hole camera. But customers are still not satisfied because the image quality leaves a lot to be desired. Here, Samsung is supposed to be planning an extensive improvement and using a significantly superior sub-display camera (source: Android Community).
It may not even be a single more or less invisible camera. Rumor has it that Samsung will hide more cameras under the screen . Sub-display cameras are also to be used for the first time on the Galaxy Z Flip 4.

Samsung's folding smartphones are supposed to be lighter
The hinge of the Galaxy Z-Fold series should also be examined again. An even more dust-proof solution can be expected here, which at the same time weighs less. That is also sorely needed, because the current Galaxy Z Fold 3 weighs an impressive 271 grams.
