{Disarmed} Samsung Galaxy S22 series starts worldwide with Snapdragon 898 instead of Exynos 2200
According to rumors, Samsung will introduce the Galaxy S22 series in February next year. Samsung is expected to launch three new flagship phones. There have been a number of leals in the recent past, now some important details about the chipset have leaked. According to a new report, abandoning the Exynos 2200 in favor of the Snapdragon 898.
Samsung has launched its previous flagships with a mix of Snapdragon and Exynos chips for different regions. According to reports, Samsung is now planning to launch the Galaxy S22 series with the Snapdragon 898 processor worldwide. LetsGoDigital and YouTuber Super Roader claim that all regions including Europe and Asia will receive the Snapdragon-powered Samsung Galaxy S22 series over the next year.
Other tipsters like Tron and Max Weinbach disagree. Weinbach claims to have found evidence in the software confirming the introduction of an Exynos 2200-powered variant of the S22 series. The tipster Tron also claimed that he had received information about an Exynos variant of the Galaxy S22 series.
Samsung has not yet confirmed any details in this regard. If that's true, however, it could be difficult to produce that many chips for the world market, especially given the ongoing chip shortage.
