{Disarmed} Samsung Galaxy S20 range will soon receive Android 12-based One UI 4 Beta
It seems like Samsung will release the One UI 4.0 Beta for the Galaxy S20 series as well. Corresponding messages have now appeared in the Samsung Members Forum.
According to the official moderator of the Samsung Members Forum, the company is preparing to open the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 beta program for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 + and Galaxy S20 Ultra. It was said that One UI 3.1 with the firmware version ending with EUI4 would be the last software update based on the Android 11 operating system.
Samsung could soon start hiring beta testers for the One UI 4.0 beta update for the Galaxy S20 series. The beta is supposed to start before the end of November 2021. But it remains to be seen whether Germany will also be there.
One UI 4.0 brings many new features with it, including a revised UI design with refreshed icons and color themes based on Material You. There are also improved standard apps, more lock screen widgets, new widget designs, an updated widgets selection menu, special quick settings for switching off the camera and microphone access, and improved security and data protection.
