{Disarmed} Google Pixel 6 (Pro): The fingerprint sensor is very slow to respond
The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro have a few problems again. It's not unusual at Google, so far every new model has had to struggle with more or less problems. A new one is added to the Pixel 6 (Pro), but this is not a problem for Google.
The Pixel 6 (Pro) struggles with a few problems with the display and the camera or that it does not charge with 30 watts . There is also a phenomenon that the phone calls contacts from the phone book by itself. So far, I have not been able to detect any of these problems on my test devices. However, I can also determine the problem with the fingerprint sensor.
Because this reacts much more slowly with the Pixel 6 (Pro) than with the competition. For me too, it feels like it takes forever to unlock the phone. For Google itself, this is not a problem, but a security feature:
"The Pixel 6 fingerprint sensor uses improved security algorithms. In some cases, checking these additional protective measures may take longer or require more direct contact with the sensor "
Google
It's all well and good, but unlocking is still way too slow. But maybe Google will provide a remedy with an update !?
