Samsung is currently distributing an update for its Galaxy Watch 4 (Classic) smartwatch. Although the smart watch was only recently launched, the list of new features is impressive. New gestures and watch faces are included.

The Galaxy Watch 4 and the Classic version of the Smartwatch did not come onto the market until the end of August 2021. Nevertheless, Samsung has already decided to carry out a major update to expand its own software. First it is the turn of customers in Samsung's home market of South Korea, the further distribution takes place in batches as usual.

The highlight of the update should be the new watch faces that are available in both the standard version and the classic version of the Galaxy Watch 4. In this way, the watch can be designed more individually if the existing watch faces have already become boring. Plus, the update also offers a whole new gesture. With this, predefined apps or functions of the smartwatch can be started. Previously, gestures could only be used to answer and decline calls or to turn off an alarm. The functions for monitoring the heart rate have also been improved.
