Ex-Huawei subsidiary is planning big things: is it still a cell phone?

After the Honor X20 SE, the former Huawei subsidiary is working on another cell phone in the series. The Honor X30 Max should set itself apart from the competition with a huge display. The suffix "Max" really fits here.

Honor X30 Max: Ex-Huawei subsidiary plans cell phone with 7-inch display

Honor had only presented the X20 SE in July 2021, so they would like to present a big brother. The Honor X30 Max will be presented shortly, which primarily wants to convince with a huge screen . According to initial information from China, the display has a diagonal of an impressive 7 inches. Contrary to what was previously reported, the phone will not be launched on the market under the name Honor X20 Max. Whether such a device still works as a cell phone or is more of a small tablet is likely to be in the eye of the beholder.

Apart from the exorbitant screen, hardly any really reliable specification has leaked out for the mobile phone. The Honor X30 Max should offer a "good audio-visual experience" and should have a fairly strong battery, which is also necessary with a 7-inch display. According to rumors, the battery has a capacity of 6,000 mAh and can be charged with 22.5 watts (source: Digital Chat Station at Weibo).

Honor recently presented the Magic 3 (Pro, Pro Plus) phones. Information on this in the video :

In addition, the next Honor cell phone could rely on the Dimensity 1100 processor from MediaTek, which can be found in the Poco X3 GT and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, among others. Working and permanent storage are not yet known. The planned triple camera on the back has a main sensor with 64 MP, plus a macro lens and a depth sensor (2 MP each)

It is not yet clear whether the Honor X30 Max will also be offered in this country. The X20 cell phones from the former Huawei subsidiary are not officially available in Germany and can only be imported through Chinese shops. An official presentation of the XXL smartphone is expected before November 11, 2021.
