{Disarmed} Windows 11: First pictures of native Android apps appeared

Windows 11 should also be able to run Android apps. It will take some time until then, because the current version, which has been distributed by Microsoft for a few days, cannot yet run Android apps. We will probably have to wait until 2022.

New leaks now show how the Android apps can be run natively under Windows 11 in the future. However, you will not be able to use the Google Play Store and its apps for this. Microsoft has decided to work with Amazon, you will be able to use their App Store.

A first test version of the Amazon AppStore for native Android apps under Windows 11 will be available later this year. This should be distributed to the testers as part of the Insider Preview Builds.

Screenshots have now appeared showing how this should be implemented. You can see the Windows Subsystem for Android, where the WeChat messenger runs under Windows 11, even in several windows open at the same time. So there will also be multi-window support, which should make using the Android apps even more pleasant.

It is not yet known when Microsoft will roll out the appropriate update to enable use of the Amazon AppStore and the Android subsystem.
