In the past, voices have risen in the US to prevent Chinese tech giants like Huawei and ZTE from doing business in the country. The US Senate sees companies as a threat to national security and has therefore put them on the Entity List. However, none of the US claims could be proven.

According to new information, the Secure Equipment Act was passed by the US House of Representatives last Thursday with 420 to 4 votes. This bill provides for stricter and more rigid regulations to completely prevent Chinese telecommunications companies from doing business.

The Republican statesman Marco Rubio said that state-regulated Chinese companies such as Huawei are not allowed to find a place on the US network. He said that the Chinese vendors' devices pose a threat to national security and that using them is like digging your own grave.

However, none of the US allegations against Huawei have been presented with any evidence, so they are just allegations.

The chaos began in March 2019 when the US FCC blacklisted Huawei and ZTE along with other companies. At that time, the Trump administration justified this measure with the law to protect the US communications networks.

In addition to Huawei and ZTE, Hytera Communications Corp, Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co, and Zhejiang Dahua Technology Co have also been prevented from doing business in the country.

In June the FCC tried to push the ban. China's foreign minister said there was no basis for US legislation. There is no evidence on the matter and attempts are being made to defame the companies.
