The Xiaomi 11T Pro has proven to be a heavyweight, the worthy successor to the Mi 11 family, already emancipated from its "mi" prefix. Its milestone in fast charging, a direct inheritance from the Xiaomi MIX 4 , and its imposing screen have made it one of the smartphones of the season. But perhaps more is hidden in its construction than it seems.
In order to rate its repairability , the PBKreviews team disassembled and reassembled a Xiaomi 11T Pro, finding a monumental surprise: a large graphite belt mounted on the battery that seeks to cool and dissipate heat from the entire body. central terminal.
Graphene, the ally of the Xiaomi 11T Pro
During the disassembly process we can appreciate several very interesting details. After removing the first group of screws (13 in total) and disassembling the camera module housing, just below you can see a wide strip of graphene film, very thin and responsible for displacing residual heat from the inside to the outside.
This layer is located just above a battery that is actually two. Another trick of the master is that the 5000 mAh battery with 120 W fast charging is actually two slots of 2500 mAh each . In the video you can see a central notch, a fault between both batteries interconnected under the legend A and B.

The disassembly shows that some copper sockets - of, we suppose, a high-density alloy - connect to this strip of graphene by means of heat conduits, those micro-TTB (basic thermosyphon tubes) of perfect geometry that we can see on the pumpkin-colored sheet.

Towards minute 4:10, on the processor, once this floor has been disassembled, we can see a good layer of thermal paste applied unevenly on the SoC dock .

The Snapdragon 888 processor can reach quite aggressive temperatures. However, Xiaomi has already tamed this SoC through its custom ROM, MIUI, managing to reduce its temperature by 5ºC despite maintaining its nominal performance.

In conclusion, the sum of these components protects and dissipates excessive heat from the upper third of the terminal to the rear and lower margins of the smartphone. A clear emphasis and a conscious effort to prevent the 11T Pro from overheating and damaging components such as the screen or camera sensors.
