{Disarmed} Sony claims the "best smartphone camera" is coming next week

Sony made a mysterious Xperia announcement for October 26th just a few days ago ... and literally gave nothing away about it. Today there is a new cryptic YouTube teaser - and this reveals that a new Xperia smartphone is coming that focuses on professional photography and videography.

That doesn't necessarily mean that the Sony Xperia Pro will have a successor. So who knows what Sony has in the pipeline for next week.

The shrouded in mystery will appear to have its own shutter release (just like the Xperia Pro and 1 III) while it comes with the "best smartphone camera" a Hollywood cinematographer, producer and director named Philip Bloom has ever used, and feels "almost" like a "camera with a phone attached".

Sounds like marketing blah - or is there really something to it? So far, sony has not been able to keep up with the best smartphone cameras. Well, I'm curious.
