Samsung held an Unpacked event today, and we didn't see the Galaxy S21 FE or any other new devices at the event. But the manufacturer still had some foldable news to share, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition is new.
This new initiative, reminiscent of the Moto Maker concept from many years ago, will allow customers to customize their Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 on the Bespoke Studio platform before purchasing.
According to Samsung, there are five different colors for the back and two colors for the frame to choose from. You can choose a frame in black or silver and the front and back sides in black, blue, pink, white and yellow. There are a total of 49 possible combinations. It's not quite as extensive as Motorola's Moto Maker, where you could even choose the material for the back and add an engraving. But the options for individual design are still very good.
It can be assumed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition is otherwise identical to the standard model. So expect a Snapdragon 888 SoC, a 6.7-inch OLED screen that folds at 120 Hz, a 1.9-inch external display, two 12 MP cameras on the outside, and a 3,300 mAh battery.
The Bespoke Studio Service starts today (October 20th) and will cost EUR 1,149.00 for an adapted 256 GB version.
