Samsung's new line of high-end tablets in the Galaxy Tab S8 series is getting ready. After the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 was already seen on render images and in a first video, the top model Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is now following suit.
It seems that Samsung can't resist copying a bit of Apple's design. The new render images of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra tell us that the tablet will have a distinctive notch on the screen. One can only wonder why Samsung chose this route, considering that rumors suggest that the tablet will only be shipped with an 8 MP front camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has relatively narrow bezels. Several leaks had already revealed that Samsung wants to reduce the size of the bezels on high-end tablets. There are two camera sensors on the back, which are rumored to include a 13 MP module and an 8 MP module.
@OnLeaks also revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will be equipped with a 14.6 ″ display, the largest we have seen on a tablet so far. Previous reports speculated that the screen would use a 120 Hz AMOLED panel and a whopping 12,000 mAh battery. Under the hood, an Exynos 2200 SoC could power the tablet, along with up to 12 GB of RAM and 258/512 GB of storage.
While the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra appears to be becoming an absolute beast, it might be almost impossible to get one. Samsung continues to struggle with the global chip shortage. On the other hand, the tablet's immense price could deter many from buying one.
