The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra should set new standards and break records. In the past few weeks there have already been a number of leaks about the new Samsung flagships. Now there are a few new details about the display of the S22 Ultra, which should put all others in the shade.
After the expectations of the charging speed of the new Galaxy S22 series from Samsung have been dampened a bit today, Samsung does not seem to want to save on the display and set new records.
In addition to all the known specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, such as a 6.8 ″ 1440p display, Snapdragon 898 / Exynos 2200 processor, 108 MP main camera and 5,000 mAh battery, there are now also the exact specifications of the display of the future flagship.
According to the report, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have the brightest cell phone display ever, capable of a peak brightness of 1800 nits. Most likely in automatic mode and with HDR content, but this is also how all other manufacturers market their peak brightness in their models.
For comparison: the S21 Ultra achieves 1500 nits, while the peak brightness of the iPhone 13 Pro Max with suitable HDR content is 1200 nits. So the S22 Ultra seems to raise the bar a whole lot higher.
