Realme 8i

As promised, Realme launched the Realme 8i in Europe today. It is available in the colors Star Violet and Space Black and is offered in two storage options: 4 GB / 64 GB and 4 GB / 128 GB, at prices of EUR 199.00 and EUR 219.00 respectively. Both versions are available until October 20th with a discount of EUR 20.00.

The Realme 8i is based on a 6.6 ″ FullHD + LCD with dynamic 120 Hz and an advertised peak brightness of 600 nits. The 8i has installed the Helio G96 SoC under the hood, Android 11 based on Realme UI 2.0 is on board in terms of software. The Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 will appear in the first quarter of 2022.

The Realme 8i has a total of four cameras for photography - a 16 MP selfie camera on the front and a triple camera on the rear with 50 MP primary, 2 MP macro and 2 MP monochrome sensors.

The Realme 8i is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that draws up to 18 watts of power via a USB type C connection. The smartphone also has a fingerprint sensor attached to the side.
