The OnePlus Buds Z2 is now official, the latest True Wireless earbuds from OnePlus have just been unveiled in China along with the OnePlus 9RT 5G . In the run-up to the market launch, OnePlus had already confirmed seven important improvements to the Buds Z2 compared to the last TWS generation. The main features of the OnePlus Buds Z2 include active noise cancellation, a battery life of up to 38 hours and a low latency mode of 94 ms.

The OnePlus Buds Z2, like their predecessors, are inexpensive, wireless earphones with an in-ear design and a bracket. In terms of case design, it looks pretty similar to the OnePlus Buds Z. It uses an 11mm moving coil driver along with Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity with support for AAC / SBC codecs. Active noise cancellation is one of the most important innovations in the OnePlus Buds Z2. They offer noise suppression of up to 40 dB. In addition to the ANC function, there is also a transparency mode that allows you to perceive the surroundings while listening to music. The earbuds have three microphones for calls. The earplugs are also certified to IP55. Several touch functions are available for control, such as single click, double click, triple click and long press.

The battery life is 7 hours with a single charge with the earphones and up to 31 hours with the case, which contains a 520 mAh battery - a total of 38 hours. A 10-minute quick charge provides up to 5 hours of music playback, while a full charge takes 90 minutes. There is a USB Type C port on the back of the case for charging. There is also a low-latency mode that reduces latency to 94 ms and Dolby Atmos on select OnePlus devices.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 cost CNY 499 in China, which is around EUR 67.00. The headphones are available in two colors - Day White and Night Black. There is still no information about availability.
