OnePlus Buds Z2

OnePlus launched the OnePlus Buds Z last year, which was an affordable, durable, and fast-charging pair of true wireless earbuds. The company is currently preparing the successor. The first OnePlus Buds Z2 render images appeared a few days ago.

Now more details and render images have emerged, and the latest images confirm the design of the images that have emerged. The charging case appears to be identical to the previous pictures. Allegedly, the new headphones are to appear in 2 color variants, Day White and Night Black.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 should offer Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, a range of 10 meters, protection class IP55 for the earphones and protection class IPX4 for the charging cradle. Otherwise, there should be AAC and SBC options as well as three microphones and active noise cancellation.

The 520 mAh charger should be able to charge from zero to 100 percent in 90 minutes, but wireless charging is not possible. The 40mAh battery built into the headphones should allow five hours of music playback with activated noise cancellation, with deactivated noise cancellation it is even up to seven hours.

The charging case offers 27 hours of music playback with noise cancellation activated and up to 38 hours when the function is deactivated. Nothing is known about pricing and availability yet, but rumors point to a launch later this month.
