{Disarmed} OnePlus 9RT 5G officially presented
Earlier this year, when OnePlus announced its flagship range, the OnePlus 9, not two but three phones were announced. In addition to the standard model and the OnePlus 9 Pro, there was a third and cheaper model called the OnePlus 9R. A refreshed model with the name OnePlus 9RT follows today.
The OnePlus 9RT shares many of its specs with its predecessor, but there are significant upgrades that still set it apart from its sibling. In terms of design, the OnePlus 9RT now has a larger screen and the back has been slightly redesigned - the camera module is not only longer, but also slimmer as it has three cameras instead of four.
The OnePlus 9RT has a 6.62 ″ FullHD + Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, support for sRGB and P3 color space and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It also has a 600 Hz touch sampling rate for faster responses when gaming.
OnePlus has replaced the Snapdragon 870 in the OnePlus 9R with the more powerful Snapdragon 888 chipset. There will be three configurations available - 8 GB RAM + 128 GB, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB. The RAM is LPDDR5 and the memory is UFS 3.1.
As for the cameras, the OnePlus 9RT has a 50 MP f / 1.8 Sony IMX766 sensor with a 6P lens and optical and electronic image stabilization. The ultra wide angle camera is a 16 MP f / 2.2 sensor with a 123 ° field of view and there is a 2 MP 4CM macro camera to complete the setup. OnePlus has omitted the 2MP monochrome camera and downgraded the macro camera from 5MP to 2MP. On the front there is a 16 MP Sony IMX471 camera with electronic image stabilization.
The mobile phone can record in 4K with up to 60fps, in slow motion and in 1080p with 240fps and also time-lapse videos in FullHD. The camera app is packed with many features including super night mode, scene detection, pro model, portrait mode, RAW support, video portrait, film mode and long exposure mode.
The OnePlus 9RT has a fingerprint sensor in the display, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, dual nano-SIM support, USB-C and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. It has a 4,500 mAh battery and supports Warp Charge 65T, which is faster than the Warp Charge 65 on the OnePlus 9R.
The phone is delivered with ColorOS 12 based on Android 11 in China in the colors Dark Matter (black), Hacker Silver and Enchanted Sky. A start in Germany is not planned.
