{Disarmed} Motorola Moto G200: Leak reveals first specifications

Motorola Moto G100

The Motorola Edge S was introduced in China at the beginning of the year as the first smartphone with the Snapdragon 870. The phone later appeared outside of China as the Motorola Moto G100. A successor is now on the way and is expected to hit the market next month as the Motorola Moto G200.

The Moto G200 was first mentioned on Twitter by famous leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks), who revealed that the phone is code-named "Yukon". Now the folks at TechnikNews have revealed more details about the cell phone.

Accordingly, the Moto G200 should have a FullHD + display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. There is no mention of the display type, but chances are it is an OLED panel like the one on the Motorola Edge 20 Pro.

The Moto G200 will get the Snapdragon 888, which will be supported by 8 GB of RAM. It will also have a 108 MP Samsung S5KHM2 sensor built in, just like in the Edge 20 Pro. The camera setup also includes a 13 MP ultra wide angle camera, which should also be able to take macro shots, and a 2 MP depth sensor. There should be a 16 MP selfie camera on the front.

The Motorola Moto G200 will be launched in November, but there is no specific date. Unfortunately, it will still run on Android 11.
