One of the most annoying bugs of the Android 12 Beta 5 was the lack of weather in the At A Glance widget on the Pixel Launcher. Google now seems to have a solution to this problem. Because with the first users, the weather now seems to be working again.

In Beta 5, At A Glance was redesigned so that the permanent widget of the Pixel Launcher is now left-justified and no longer centered at the top of the screen. While the day and date are displayed, the current weather conditions and temperature are missing. Even the attempt to customize the widget only led the user to a broken settings menu with switches, but no text.

Now, however, Google seems to have fixed the error, because the first users reported that the weather was now displayed again for them. It can therefore be assumed that Google has rolled out a server-side update.
