Now that Google has officially rolled out Android 12, some of you are probably wondering when your manufacturer will release the update to the latest Android iteration for your phone. If you happen to own an Asus phone, you'll be happy to know that the manufacturer will begin rolling out Android 12 in December.

According to Asus, the ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip will be the first devices to receive the Android 12 update. The company states that the update will be rolled out in December 2021. The ZenFone 7 is expected to follow suit in the first half of 2022.

For those who own the company's ROG Gaming Phone, Asus says the ROG Phone 5 / 5S will get the update in the first quarter of 2022, while the ROG Phone 3 will get it in the first half of 2022. The company doesn't say when exactly.
Asus says they have already started beta testing the update for the ZenFone 8, so hopefully the update should be ready by December if there aren't any issues.
