{Disarmed} Android: October 2021 security update for Pixel devices is here

Android 12 was finally released today, but has not yet been released. Therefore, there is only the October 2021 security patch with another Android 11 update for the Pixel 3, Pixel 3a, Pixel 4, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5 and Pixel 5a.

The security update from October 2021 with the patch level 2021-10-05 will be rolled out to the corresponding devices with immediate effect. The Pixel-specific update fixes some additional weaknesses in the kernel, in the Pixel software and in open and closed Qualcomm components.

The latest security patch fixes a total of 10 vulnerabilities in the Android framework and the system components and a total of 41 vulnerabilities in the kernel and the manufacturers' components.
