{Disarmed} Android 12 is now being distributed to Pixel smartphones

After a couple of longing weeks since Google's announcement of the market launch of Android 12, the rollout for the Pixel smartphones in question will begin immediately. For users who took part in the beta test phase, there is a small incremental update, everyone gets a full update.

Of course, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are the first devices to come out-of-the-box with the latest Android iteration. Everyone else is now getting the update to Android 12. If you have one of the following Pixel devices, you should have received an update request for Android 12:

  • Google Pixel 4a 5G / 5
  • Google Pixel 5a 5G

As with all major Android updates, this will also be rolled out gradually over the next few days. In the next few days, all authorized Pixel users should receive the corresponding update.
