Android 12 already within reach: OnePlus presses the tube

Google hasn't released Android 12 yet, but the Chinese manufacturer OnePlus can't go fast enough. Now a OnePlus 9 Pro with Android 12 and the ColorOS coating has appeared. It should take some time before Android 12 arrives at the owners of the cell phone - because OnePlus has completely different problems.

Android 12: OnePlus is testing the switch to ColorOS

The successor to Android 11 is already around the corner and should be officially presented by Google in early October 2021. As usual, the in-house smartphones in the Pixel series can benefit from the update first, and only then do other manufacturers come into play. OnePlus is right at the forefront . Android 12 is already being tested together with ColorOS in the international version of the OnePlus 9 Pro. The standard version of the cell phone will also receive the update (source: MySmartPrice).

When exactly Android 12 will be distributed on OnePlus mobile phones, only the Chinese manufacturer itself currently knows. OnePlus has another construction site to work on , because OxygenOS is no longer adhered to its own Android cover. After the quasi-takeover by Oppo, the signs are entirely on ColorOS.

Because of this, the update to Android 12 at OnePlus could be delayed . According to earlier reports, ColorOS 12 will be distributed in China in November 2021, while the international versions of the cell phones will take time until next year.
