Through the latest Closed Beta of MIUI 12.5, specifically the 21.8.30, Xiaomi has expanded the possibilities of local backups , allowing us to select other options that we did not have access to before.

Now, after this new update, we can make local backup copies of the images, audios, videos and files that we have stored in our Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO. In this way we can safeguard practically any content on our smartphone and later transfer it to a different storage unit.
